　　爱丽丝（达科塔·约翰逊 Dakota Johnson 饰）和男友之间的感情走到了尽头，为了给这段恋情寻找新的可能性，她决定暂时离开男友，离开家乡，前往纽约闯荡。罗宾（瑞贝尔·威尔森 Rebel Wilson 饰）的个性大大咧咧，白天，她是法律事务所里衣着得体的小助理，每当夜幕降临，她便会摇身一变，成为夜场里最闪亮的女王。　　梅格（莱斯利·曼恩 Leslie Mann 饰）早已经看穿了婚姻的本质，是一名不婚主义者，可是，一个属于她的孩子对于梅格来说却有着致命的吸引力。露西（爱丽森·布里 Alison Brie 饰）的社交圈很小，因此她将脱单的期望寄托在了虚拟的社交网络中，结果却屡屡令她失望。

　　豆豆（关培培 饰）是刚刚升上一年级的小学生，他有一个哥哥名叫大杆（春晓 饰），豆豆对他非常的崇拜，将大杆的一言一行都奉若圣旨。一天，哥哥去参加足球比赛，豆豆带着邻居小兔子（许旨异 饰）前去观赛，当哥哥接球失误的时候，豆豆把自己手上的皮球丢给了哥哥，哪知道非但没有讨好到哥哥，反而惹他生气了。　　豆豆不小心撞见了哥哥偷偷抽烟，他替哥哥保守了这个秘密，还从爸爸那里偷来香烟送给哥哥，最终结果自然是讨了一顿毒打。学校召开家长会，豆豆的爸爸妈妈有事不能到场，大杆代替他们参加了家长会，在学校的墙报上，大杆看到了豆豆写的一篇作文《哎哟，哥哥》，直到此时，他才明白了弟弟对自己的感情。
