新職員東浩在性感的職場上司賢珠和公司裡很享受刺激的秘密約會，但是，對兩人的不好的傳聞被公司傳開，結果兩人最終分手。 不久後，東浩為了能得到與懷孕女朋友結婚的許可，而去到了女朋友家，然而令東浩萬萬沒想到的是，在辦公室與自己激情的賢珠居然 就是自己預備新娘的媽媽，這樣一來，東浩與丈母娘之間的微妙關係就更有意思了。

Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
