Melis Sevinç,Melisa Bostancıoğlu,İbrahim Arıcı,Mert Can SevimliAyşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.

周润发,王祖贤,利智,王青,黄霑,郑孟霞,罗明珠,黄一飞阿美（王祖贤 饰）是个美丽的女孩子，可是天生脚就有残疾。她的父亲（黄霑 饰）因被堂叔欺骗买下了一间破旧不堪的超级市场，花掉了毕生积蓄的父亲变得疯疯癫癫的。阿美既要照顾父亲，又要帮忙打理超级市场，生活的重担落在了她的身上。在一次交通意外中，司机梁少祖（周润发 饰）以为自己 把阿美撞至残疾，十分内疚，便决定要帮助阿美经营超级市场。阿美一开始并不信任梁少祖，到后来他联合朋友来帮助自己的超级市场度过难关，心里满是感动，两人更坠入了爱河。
