飞鸟凛,川村雪绘,岩佐真悠子,真山明大,谷口贤志,草野康太,中野英雄,斋藤洋介,林未纪泽田家在岐阜县经营养鸡场，家里有三个姐妹花。大女儿泽田幸子（川村雪绘 饰）马上就要结婚，二女儿泽田雪枝（岩佐真悠子 饰）在美容院工作，小女儿泽田真弓（飞鸟凛 饰）正读中学，生性活泼。然而，突如其来的惨剧将幸福的一家推入了深渊。雪枝过去的男朋友铃木因为妒火攻心，想要加害雪枝，不料却把硫酸误泼到了真弓脸上。深受伤害的真弓从此失去了笑 容，两个姐姐陪伴在她身边不断鼓励她。 不久后，真弓学校的同学以及毕业生接连被杀，整个街区笼罩在恐怖的阴影之中……

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
