What they don’t know is that, because of a mistake made by the travel agency they used, they have all rented the same house. And none of them is willing to back out, although there is not much of an alternative anyway, which means that they will be forced to share the same living space for the whole of the summer. The glaring differences between each and every one of the occupants will turn these days into a chaotic series of entertaining and messed-up situations. Despite this whole disaster, they have to learn how to live together and how to understand all of these wildly different people – and, above all else, themselves.

丹尼尔·斯特恩,Braeden Lemasters拉尔夫（布里登·勒马斯特斯 Braeden Lemasters 饰）和他的两个小伙伴不小心弄坏了汽车店老板汉克（杰拉德·普伦基特 Gerard Plunkett 饰）的车子，生气的汉克要求三个孩子照价赔偿。对于拉尔夫一行人来说，这可是一笔巨款，仅仅靠他们微薄的零花钱根本无力偿还，于是，三个小伙伴们决定去打工赚钱。 圣诞节临近了，拉尔夫决定靠着扮演小精灵赚钱，另外两个小伙伴则选择到餐厅打工。随着时间的推移，三人的积蓄渐渐增加，在圣诞节来临之际，他们终于凑够了赔车的钱，没想到，当他们准备把钱给汉克时，后者却原谅了他们，并且不打算收取这笔赔偿款。
