在墨西哥的丛林深处的神庙，考古学家们发现了一种古老的蛇崇拜文化，同时他们不小心释放了一条沉睡了几个世纪的巨大而可怕的蟒蛇。

朱志杰（吕良伟 饰）是一名缉毒警察，他的任务是监视大毒枭雷哥（秦沛 饰）的一举一动。搭档抽筋（单立文 饰）的死让朱志杰陷入了震惊和愤怒之中，因为他知道，这起残酷的凶杀案和雷哥脱不了干系。心中的正义感令朱志杰决定单枪匹马，查明事件的真相。                                                                    　　紧锣密鼓的调查就此展开，拨开层层迷雾，朱志杰终于获得了确凿的证据，将目标锁定在了雷哥的身上。抽筋的死让他身患顽疾的儿子陷入了困境，于是，朱志杰决定在雷哥身上大赚一笔，他不仅截获了雷哥的大量毒品，还将交易款纳入囊中。朱志杰的举动激怒了雷哥，惹来了杀身之祸，在黑白两道的双重夹击下，他能够脱险吗
