大龄单身汉和年轻的继母

　　Gentry Wade, who gave up music after her father's death decades ago must confront her past when Nashville's Grand Ole Opry invites her to honor her late country star dad at their Christmas celebration.

　　Thomas and Thomas are going through a rough patch: they are both thirty-something actors living in Paris. They randomly decide to leave the city and fly away to Kullorsuaq, one of the most remote villages of Greenland, where Thomas' father Nathan lives. Among the Inuit community, they will discover the charms of the local customs and their friendship will be challenged.

 故事发生在80年代赣北的一座小小村落之中，周凉姑（殷亭如 饰）和丈夫李鸣结婚多年，两人育有一女。某日，李鸣告诉自己的好友陈祖安（张国立 饰）自己早已经厌倦了农村的生活，他打算抛弃周凉姑和女儿，回到城里顶替一个职位上的空缺。虽然陈祖安对朋友背信弃义的行为感到十分愤怒，但他也无计可施。周凉姑夜夜带着女儿守在村口的桥上等丈夫回家，陈祖安只能夜夜陪在她身边，怕她想不开自寻短见。最终，周凉姑还是放弃了陈祖安，开始尝试着开始新的生活，她通过自己勤劳的双手，不仅给村里带来了经济利益，还给自己的生活带来了新的希望。

　　本片根据社会活动家约翰·戴维森的人生经历改编。他年少时被诊断出患有妥瑞氏综合征，会不受控制地抽动身体或口吐恶言。妥瑞氏综合征迫使约翰与同龄人疏远，而他则不懈与这种鲜为人知的症状作斗争，积极为妥瑞氏人群发声。
