父子神探之卧雪图
李子雄,马跃陈天生办案能力越来越高，在上海滩名声几乎要盖过父亲陈亨利，不由得有点飘飘然。没想到马上栽了跟斗。一次国画展上，陈天生意外结识了漂亮聪明的女记者晓蕙，与此同时，一伙盗贼暗暗实施着盗画行动。天生通过观察，认出了扮成巡捕的窃贼并将其抓捕。关键时刻，晓蕙也发现了化装成安保人员准备偷画的窃贼。就在他们为抓住偷画贼庆幸时，美术馆长发现馆内一副价值连城的王维失传名作《卧雪图》不翼而飞。通过对偷画贼的审问，发现偷《卧雪图》的另有其人。陈亨利拜访《卧雪图》的主人梁仕友。但是亨利发现梁仕友在提到画的来源时闪烁其词，似有隐瞒。而天生则发现梁仕友的儿子梁旭是个纨绔子弟，经常混迹赌场，并且在书画即将展出前几天行为怪异，不禁让人心生怀疑。通过一个赝品画师的线索，天生发现梁旭确有盗画企图。可是亨利却认为案子并没有这么简单。果然，种种证据表明盗画者并非梁旭。天生再回到对三个偷画贼的调查，发现疑点慢慢集中到记者晓蕙身上。此时晓蕙却蹊跷失踪，巡捕在她家发现了一副《卧雪图》。梁仕友在看到那幅画的时候却大惊失色 ，亨利觉得这其中另有隐情，找来赝品画师鉴定，没想到的是那幅画居然也是赝品。天生发现自己在美貌的晓蕙面前有点能力失常。一切征象表明晓蕙对他隐瞒了很多，甚至，根本就是利用了自己。天生这才发现，自己跟父亲比起来功力还差得远。晓蕙为什么要偷一幅赝品画？她为什么失踪，又与梁家有什么关系？亨利顺藤摸瓜发现了晓蕙的身世。却没料到梁旭被绑架，一个专门为日本人在中国收买中国名画的黑帮团伙威胁梁仕友，带真正的《卧雪图》去换儿子的性命。可是梁仕友手中只有一副赝品！梁仕友终于想亨利道出了《卧雪图》背后的秘密，原来，当年这幅《卧雪图》真正的主人正是晓蕙的父亲萧青，与梁仕友夫妇是好友，最后梁仕友利用萧青的儿女情长和对自己的信任，骗取了《卧雪图》真迹。萧青受到了爱情和友谊的双重打击，从此潦倒，不久前郁郁而终，临死前向自己的女儿讲述了《卧雪图》的秘密，并交给她一幅自己临摹的极品赝品画。晓蕙为给父亲报仇，携赝品《卧雪图》来到上海滩，盗走真品，又巧妙地让自己手中赝品辗转回到梁仕友手中，让梁仕友面临良心的谴责，并即使付出痛失爱子的代价！亨利参破晓蕙的用意，将计就计，诱逼梁仕友夫妇道出真相，伏法收场。几经波折巡捕房救回了梁旭，可是真迹《卧雪图》依然石沉大海。天生怅然若失，心灰意冷时，突然收到一封远方来信，远走高飞的晓蕙向他表示歉意并给出了《卧雪图》真迹的线索……
奇谋妙计五福星

The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
